what happened to doing it right the first time.

on the 4th November 2024,i app**** for a personal loan through standard bank App, Everything was going well until i got to the last part. The system said i should go to the branch as their records show an unresolved issue on this application. This is a process i went through previously to get this rectified as there was a case of a ****** identity. I did submit the relevant documentation that was requested from me at the time. A letter from the (South African ***** Prevention Services)The hard copy was submitted to Sharol Zondo by hand and she scanned and sent to relevant department.

my matter was handled by Bongile Nxele who referred the matter to Dorah Shady Nqola. They spoke to me and tried helping but till now i have no feedback on my deal. I must say i am disappointed that till now this matter has not been resolved.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the delay in finalizing my pre-approved deal on the Standard Bank app, which has now exceeded 72 hours. This delay is well beyond the expected timeframe, and I have not received any updates from your side via email or phone. While I appreciate the apology, the lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable, particularly when the principle of "Do It Right the First Time" is clearly not being upheld. Given the circumstances, I can't help but feel that, had I been a white client, this situation would not have occurred.I expect an immediate explanation for the delay and an expedited resolution to this matter.

I hope this email finds you well.I am writing to follow up on the recent communication regarding my personal loan application, which was initially approved but later declined on the grounds of not meeting the lending criteria. Given my current financial standing, I am seeking clarification on this decision. To summarize, my monthly net income is R60,611.34, with an additional monthly pension income of R7,941.99 from Alexander Forbes. My total expenses amount to R11,130.00, and I do not have any defaults or credit listings against my name. Based on these figures, I believe I am in a healthy financial position and meet the affordability criteria. However, I have noticed that my Standard Bank banking app continues to show loan eligibility even today, which seems to contradict the outcome of my application. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with specific details on why my application was declined, as well as any additional steps I can take to have this decision reviewed.I would appreciate your prompt response and assistance in resolving this matter.Thank you for your time and support.Kind regards,
