What am I paying for?

I pay R179 per month for Prestige Banking and I get absolutely no value for all that money. Money goes off my account in unauthorised debits. And every time I call the customer (what)care centre I have to hold for eons, and when I eventually get through to a consultant I have to answer a million stupid questions. But what is happening today takes the cake. This consultant asks me the million security questions, one of which is my bank card number. Of course I don't have the damn card in front of me and I don't know the number by heart. She then asks me about my EAP limit, which I also do not remember. So she decides that she can't proceed with the reversal and insists that I should go into a branch or call back. So I do call back and am on the phone for nearly 20 minutes with Thulani Mabena this time. Who also asks me about the damned limit, which of course I do not remember. Again, I am told to go to a f**&&ng branch. ****** parrots who cannot reason! So, why the hell am I paying such a high fee if I'm going to be treated like a ******** when I want to get back MY MONEY that Standard Bank has given to their cronies??? Twice I have called the damned call centre, and TWICE I have been told to go to a branch. I will not go to a branch. Just reverse the damn unauthorised debit order and actually give me the service I am paying for!!!!!

I find it very interesting that ********* can help themselves to my money (the money I entrusted to Standard Bank) using unauthorised debits (it's a monthly occurence by the way). And when I want to reverse those debits I'm turned into an acrobat, having to jump through hoops, answering a zillion questions and generally being treated like a ********. If you app**** half the screening to these ****ters as you do to your "valued clients" we would not even be having this exchange. Surely, by now banks know which companies run ********** debits, but instead of dealing with those ********* you go for the soft targets (us, the clients). And you make us pay through our noses for that! Shame on you!
