WHAT A DEPLORABLE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION

<p>i have a homeloan with std bank registered in 2008. used some of the money to buy land. I app**** for a building loan and was given an access bond. BUT THE VERY EFFICIENT BANK never told me that should I not use funds then the Access Bond expires. When I found out I spoke to a consultant and was told when I am ready to start building then I should just come and apply again. I am now ready - unfortunately my pilings and my first slab is going to take quite a few thousand rand to built so I needed money upfront for that as it is too much. But now this very efficient bank's very efficient consultants just keep on telling me that I cannot get money upfront. So if I have to supply R 300 000 to R 500 000 upfront myself WHY ON EARTH WOULD I NEED A HOMELOAN THEN ????!!!!!! </p>
