Having left Standard Bank almost a decade ago, I was apprehensive opening my account again. Updating old information online that sets as a default did not help as I tried to access the account. Upon collecting my card from the branch (defeating online purposes) and given the time of year. I was really impressed with the efficiency and professional approach from Ms. Sibisi at the Dundee, KZN Branch. This level of proactive approach and understanding of her customer products and services as well as ability to communicate her process in the middle of many unrelated activities she had to do (Counting coins, Cash Banking) without making me feel as a client , i am taking her away from her activities. I really thought this needed recognizing.

So often staff is over burdened with admin and other function on the frontline that the customer service aspect is often neglected.

I hope Standard Bank recognizes the gems ( Ms. Sibisi) that make returning customers like me feel the REAL CHANGE in Standard bank.
