We do not care about the elderly or the infirm

My mom have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's around 2012. In 2014, she had power of attorney signed over to me. Since 2014, I have been struggling with Standard Bank to accept the PoA. My mom and I went to Std Bank twice, where we signed everything that needed to be signed. Every year since 2014, when I had to increase her accommodation payment, I was told that Std Bank have no record of the PoA. My mom can barely speak these days, yet with last increase I was told, in front of everyone that could hear, that unless I bring my mom in to sign the required documents (yet again), they WILL not assist me. The home arranges an ambulance just to take her to the doctor. How do you expect me to get my mom to the bank? I've reported this several times, every time Std Bank contact me to make arrangement to meet at my Mom's Home and every time no one shows. There was a deduction on her account that I did not know about, which caused her credit card deduction to be returned. They refused to assist me and the credit card fell behind. As STD Bank do no accept my PoA, I cannot assist you. So stop having your attorneys calling me - I cannot assist as YOU do not accept the PoA.
