WATCH!!! OUT

WATCH OUT!!! If you ever plan to develop a property then DO NOT finance the purchase transaction through Standard Bank!! I purchased a property through Standard bank's home loan division. I want to rezone the property to BUSSINESS RIGHTS. The property is slap dash in the centre of the business district, although it was still zoned as residential. STANDARD BANK simply informed me in writing that they cannot give permission for rezoning, since BUSSINESS RIGHTS falls outside the scope of their residential department. I need to refinance the property through another bank!!! How ridiculous is this. Maybe it is better not to deal with Standard Bank at all when financing fixed property!!!!!
