WAITING ON LOAN FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS

I recently decided to get a personal loan from Standard Bank and althou it has been approved in the branch, I still havent received the funds due to confirmation of employment tht has not been done, Does it really take almost 2 weeks to make one phone call to confirm employment. When calling the call center I'm instruted to speak to the sales consultant that helped me, but they can never get through to the branch. I received a call yesterday from Elizabeth with the same storie of confirmation of employment that still needs to be done, I app**** for a cheque card and still no feedback on this as well, this is quite frankly pathetic. It will be 2 weeks tomorrow that they are busy CONFIRMING EMPLOYMENT, no-one knows if there is a way to escalate this issue or can give any satisfactory answers.
