Waiting for cancelation figures

Dear Standard Bank Deceased Estates Department,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to express my growing concern and frustration regarding the delay in receiving the cancellation figures I have been waiting for. All the required documents and relevant information were submitted to your department some time ago, and I have been under the impression that everything was in order. However, to date, I have not received the figures or any clear explanation for the delay.

This matter is of great importance to me, and the continued lack of progress is causing significant stress and inconvenience. I had considered coming to your offices in person to follow up, but unfortunately, I am wheelchair-bound, which makes travel and mobility extremely difficult. I therefore kindly request that this matter be treated with urgency and that I be kept informed of any outstanding issues that may be causing the delay.

If there are any further documents or information required from my side, please do not hesitate to inform me so I can assist immediately. Otherwise, I kindly request that the cancellation figures be processed and sent to me without any further delay.

Thank you for your attention and assistance in this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

I'm still waiting for a response from Standard Bank regarding my cancellation figures. On Friday, my attorney contacted the bank and was informed that we would receive the cancellation figures once my debit order installment has reflected on their system. This morning, I followed up with a call to Standard Bank and spoke to a banker (unfortunately, I didn’t get his name). He told me that the bank had tried to debit my account, but there were no funds available at the time, and that once a debit is processed, it can take up to 10 days to reflect on Standard Bank’s system. However, about 30 minutes later, I called the bank again and this time spoke to a banker named Vuyo Zekevu. He checked the system and confirmed that the funds are, in fact, already reflecting on Standard Bank’s side. This has left me extremely confused and frustrated, as I am receiving conflicting information from your team. Can someone please urgently explain what is going on and provide clarity on when I will receive the cancellation figures?
