Waiting 2 weeks for Consent to Cancel a bond

We are in the process of buying a property from the 4th July already. The current bond that the deceased had with Standard bank had an amount outstanding and was paid. The bond cancelation attorneys are already waiting 2 weeks now for the consent from Std bank to be sent through. In the meantime while they are taking their time I must pay R2000 a month more on occupation rent than what my bond would be. Could you please hurry up in sending the consent in order for our transaction to register at the deeds office
