Violation of Removal of Adverse Consumer Informat
I settleled my Standard Bank Credit Card and Cheque judgements in February and March 2015 respectively and to date Standard Bank has not bothered to remove adverse listing against my name with the credit bureaus. I took in upon myself to visit the Standard Bank in Midrand.

Where on of the consultants assisted me to place a call to the card division of non-Standard Bank, upon which the person at Card Division put me through to the Legal Department upon which the individual who was assisting me tried his best to pass the buck.

I highlighted to this person that I had settlement letters for both accounts dating back to March 13th, he then said that my account had last been paid in 2014 (which Standard Bank had told me was did not happen by the way). The Debt Collectors who are dealing with both accounts advised me that they have sent my updated information to Standard Bank and it is on their end that things have not informed the Credit Bureaus.

I am strongly considering closing the other 3 accounts I have with them ac as they are moving my banking experience backward!
