Victim of management insecurities.
If you think that Standard bank is capable of improving itself and provide excellent Customer service, you are fooling yourself. Standard Bank structure and practices are designed in a manner that it doesn't accommodate excellence.
My experience with Standard Bank is that it lacks people with the right education to leverage our assets and secondly the misallocate talent for example you might have a qualification in economics /accounting/law but be placed at the ***** department which explain why they don't have the right management in the ***** department who have the right education and talents. What they now do is that they recruit Graduates even on their learnership but that doesn't mean anything as they are not placed on roles that are relevant to their qualifications, therefore their Learneship doesn't benefit anyone because they give irrelevant experience whilst they exploit you ,secondly the recruitment of Graduates stir insecurities to the management if they learn that you have qualifications that are very much higher than theirs as I was fired by Nomcebo simply because I was highly educated than her and masquerade that as ending my contract because I took sick leave and I didn't buy the story of sick leave nonsense because I was entitled to that sick leave. She took things very far as she ended up bribing the commissioner who was arbitrating the matter through the employee relations manager Pearl Mathonsi.
I ended up being a victim of insecurities. People who are not educated with certificates and diplomas are managers at Standard Bank, maybe I am from a different world but what I know is that people should be given positions because they have the intelligence, education and capacity to be in such roles. Secondly they recruit more than 100 learners their ***** department is full of learners the section that safeguard your money. Can someone learn with someone's else money as to how to safeguard it? Nice character doesn't work if you don't have what it takes to be in such roles. I will now be going back to TV I will forever share my experience with Standard Bank whenever such conversations that relates to such arises and I will never stop writing about my experiences. I respected that bank before until I learnt that It was actually not what I had expected.
