VICTIM OF CRIME

On the 24th of October 2015 my standard bank card was swallowed by the atm at Witpoortjie atm. My card was cloned by whoever. R2000 was drawn from a FNB atm, whereas my daily limit was R1000. Then they took my card and swiped it at 2 service stations: Luipaardsvlei BP and Paardekraal Engin. I managed to transfer R600 to my credit card. Then my card was swiped for the last time at Shell Monument service station as well as a mini statement was issued at Shell monument. I went to the bank at 8:30 to stop my card as I didn't have airtime to stop it at 6:50. I started a ***** case at the Standard bank in Keywest. They gave me a case nr. Yesterday when I called the ***** department to find out about my case they told me that I have to accept that I was a victim of crime. I cannot believe that Standard bank don't want to help me. R 3600 is a lot of money when that's all that you have to pay bills and rent and groceries.I'm going to close my Standard bank account. I have been with Standard bank for 7 years but I don't need this unsympathic behaviour from such a major service provider
