Very despondent Home Loan client

Our bond installment increased by R1000 1st March... made (NUMEROUS) enquiries & turns out the bank forgot to remove a hold code placed on the account when I was an employee on maternity leave (REF# ********** 821). We were exempt from rate increases.

Problem is R1000 is alot of money, when you have not made provision. So I call credit customer assist this morning & we are required to provide a letter with various supporting documentation.

We now have to run around FOR AN.ERROR THE BANK MADE... or suck it up & deal with R1000 extra expense that we were not aware of???

I'd appreciate alternative resolution. To be honest, we are not by the means for R1000 jump in installment.
