Vehicle account paid up- but in "arrears "

Requested a settlement amount for the vehicle on 22 September 2017. The settlement letter stated that i am to pay ca. R76000 by 29 September 2017, my issue was that if i pay that amount by the 22nd and the debit still goes off then i would have paid more than the stated amount. When I phoned I was told to wait for the debit to go through first and then pay the difference. I however paid R15000 on the 22nd in the interim cause I really wanted to settle the account. After the debit went off I then paid the balance whereby everything paid amounts to the total settlement and I paid before the 29th as the letter requested. To my surprise I got an sms staring that i have not paid my sep instalment, when I phoned I was told that the money is not yet reflecting. By the 29th I was told that i was supposed to pay a lump sum and they were going to refund me, but I was told they will look into closing the account. Today on the 06 oct when I followed up I got told that my account is in arrears, I am really frustrated at this point in time because had I known all these stories before I would have paid the money at 1 go but clearly the call centre do not really understand the business and do not explain to the customers properly. I want this account settled so I can move on with my life I am tired of phoning all the time and bei g told the same story everytime. I have just app**** for a credit which I am meant to collect, i see the insurance for the credit card has already been debited even though I have not collected the card. I will be cancelling the credit card, I do t want it anymore and I think it's only fair to take my accounts elsewhere, where I will receive better service if this account is not closed!
