UTTER DISREGARD, INEFFICIENCY AND APPAULING SERVICE

My gold cheque account number (202 546 187) has been **********ly used from the 7th -21st July 2016. Claim number given from the ***** division: ********** 3. 2 months later and no form of way forward has been indicated… I mean R85K is no child’s play nor an amount possible to be utilized. Considering that my overdraft limit is just R500. For example using just R50 over my limit, the card immediately declines. Now how we do we explain this huge amount? Who are the people assigned to monitor our accounts as their respective clients? If there were any notifications sent, but couldn’t be reached. Wasn’t there any other alternative to be considered? Blocking the card immediately, nor being reached on my work number perhaps? I took 4 days off work, just to get what was required from me in order. I then went to Jabulani Mall and Lenasia Standard bank branch. I managed to have the documents scanned namely the affidavit and documents that has the case number from the detective dealing with this case. These were all sent/ scanned at the Trade Route Mall branch. Bearing in mind I’m using my work phone risking my job, trying to get this sorted. I regards to following up on this claim I spoke to Ofentse Mafotsa Team leader after weeks of huffing and puffing with *********** consultants, I realized that the docs were not retrieved. A full month goes by and when I follow up, every consultant I’d speak to brings back to square one. Shouldn’t there be notes logged in every time there’s a follow up or supporting documents sent? Caleb Chetty the person assigned to handle my case then calls after a month and half not hearing a word from him, he just says that my claim has been handed over to their debt collection!! What ******* is that? I need answers, I’m not happy about this outcome. I was not advised on what was established. Therefore I will not succumb to what I don’t know. This needs to be dealt with accordingly.
