USELESS *********** STANDARD BANK CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am utterly disgusted by the service rendered by this company. The people working there are dahm *********** and unreliable. I have been back and forth for a whole year regarding student achiver account I opened up back in high school.

I have been getting statements every 6 months.

I went into standard bank vangate mall sometime in 2017 towards the end or beginning of 2018 not too sure on correct timing to have the account closed as it was soon to be expired too. At that time I was working at woolies and I went into the bank to have it closed. I was told it was now closed. Sometime later i get a statement that i need to pay my account of which the balance is R2800 this is before lockdown started last year, I have been back and forth about 10 times tried customer service spoke to the manager at vangate mall but to no avail everything is a dead end. I get shoved to the one person to the next without any given help.

I have a friend working for standard bank which tried to help however but to no avail.

They now want me to provide proof of me trying to close my account ***??????????? WHERE THE HELL MUST I FIND THAT OVER A FEW YEARS AGO. tHE ACCOUNT IS NOW OVER GOD DAHM R4000 I am not working where should I get the money. I have made many contact with them but to no avail. I am super ****ed off honestly. I am so frustrated as I have been running up and down and no one can help me or even try to and now I need to pay over 4k for an account that has, well suppose to have been closed. Its expired yet I am still being billed each month for an account. *** I am so fed up honestly!!!!! A bunch of *********** fools. Do not open anything with them they are bady useless.

If i could blady rate them I definitely would!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
