Useless bank ever. 1 star rating is an overrating!

It turns out the only way one can get service from Standard bank is through lodging a Hellopeter complaint! I tried paying for my goldreef city tickets yesterday with my std bank cards (Both business and personal). Transactions failed on the vendor platform but the money went out of my account. The vendor had no trace of funds so I called the bank because Thabani whom I know as my private banker ignored my call. The lady from the call centre told me that she's aware of the problem (no communication sent out to clients to make them aware as well, but anyway... ). She further told me that the funds were held by STD bank and the only way they could be released was if Golfreef city sends them an authorization email, otherwise the money will return to my account within 10 business days. So I must wait for my R5500 for ten days just because STD bank decided to take my money and "hold it". Since yesterday, all of my online purchases are failing. My electricity has run out, I can't buy it, thanks to STD Bank! I guess I will stay in the dark until standard bank decides to let me buy my electricity. I've never experienced such an inconvenience from any other bank before!
