Update client contact phone number

Good day, I don't have my current account with Standard bank, but i do have a home loan with them. I guess i qualify as a client then.

I recently got a "new" number from MTN. This number is unfortunately linked to another standard bank client. I went to the bank asking if it would be possible to remove this number from that client. The consultant at Standard bank Mall@reds then phoned my number to confirm if this is true. This was then verified but i was then told unfortunately she cant rectify this.

Now i receive all the banking notification of someone else. Is there any one else at the bank that can please assist me on this matter?
