Unwarranted charges

<p>I had a student loan with Standard Bank which I settled sometime ago. I now just received a final notice letter stating I owe R1000. From where only the devil knows as there was no breakdown of what this figure is actually made up of. None of the e-mail provided on their website or in the letter actually works (returns undelivered). They have tried this before, charging me for an account I no longer use. Is standard bank struggling so much that the only way they can recoup costs is to charge people for services they have not actually provided. I dare you to institute recovery proceedings against me and we will see how far you will get. </p>
