Unsolicited SMS Spam

<p>Firstly, I am not a Standard Bank customer & have never been one in the past.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been receiving unsolicited spam SMS's - "Get up to R10m Life Cover through Standard Bank".</p> <p> </p> <p>After reading through the comments on HelloPeter, it is evident that Standard Bank *******ly obtain people's private information & then spam them with sales garbage.</p> <p> </p> <p>The POPI act will hopefully put an end to ********* behaviour such as this.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would like Standard Bank to advise as to where the obtained my cell number from. Further - I emailed their call centre requesting to be removed from their marketing campagins, my request was simply ignored.</p> <p> </p> <p>Disgusted!</p>
