Unsatisfactory service from well known bank

Standard bank , I had money invested with them, I acquired a Job in my field of IT i required my funds to buy a car.. went to the bank to release My funds urgently was told I would pay a penalty for early release, so i cancelled the early release and opted to wait l was told I will receive my money within 14 to 21 working days … when the time was up no money was deposited in My account.. this was May 2024 … it's now August … I was told the money is gonna be transferred , then it was another 7 working days. Another 14 working days it kept going on and on … i need my money back, I tried to go the legal aid route for assistance, but they now also want money to send letters to the bank i shouldn't have to go through this , i trusted standard bank and invested money with them. I am in shock that one of the oldest banks in the country can do this to me.

Please can someone assist me, i need my money.
