Unsatisfactory service & below cost replacement

I had a break-in that I discovered when I woke up on 17 Dec 2015. My Sony HD LED TV, Russell Hobbs microwave and some clothing were ******. The STD Bank sent d subcontractor for inspection & assessment. They took photos. The delays, I enquired emails & phoning. The 2nd subcontractor was appointed cos first one was appointed in error. He took photos of bedrooms, inside wardrobes, kitchen cupboards, lounge, garage, outside d house & study room. On 28 Jan 2016, 42 days later, I received a call informing me the claim was approved. Disagreement started on the value. I was not happy with a TV quote. She confirmed d amount was based on the Sony TV quote they got.I said Sony TVs are not sold in SA any longer,she got puzzled
