Unresolved complaint
Monica Blignaut A/C ********** 30, ID ********** 188087 . Standard bank insurance has refused to fix my roof as they state that it is flat this was in 2017. In 2018 I redid my roof. The roof was lifted from my kitchen to my room. The tin sheets were replaced by Harvey tiles. Harvey has certified my roof. Standard bank had than sent an assessor to approve the work. Reference ********** 30. How is it possible that my claim is still rejected because my roof is flat? Why was I not told this when the assessor completed his assessment and why was my policy revised for what? It seems the insurance is looking for problems not to pay. This is a new roof that has been lifted. I would like Standard bank to stop looking for excuses and fix the problem that occurred after the heavy rains.
