Unresolved Blocked Account Issue with Standard Bank

I am reaching out to formally report a case regarding my unresolved blocked bank account with Standard Bank. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the matter directly with the bank, the issue remains unresolved, and I am now seeking your assistance.

Here is a summary of my situation:

1. On 16 October, I visited the Sandton Branch of Standard Bank to report that my account had been blocked. I was informed that the account was under investigation and was assured it would be resolved within 3–5 business days. 2. I submitted the required affidavit via email on 22 October. 3. I received a case number (***), but to date, I have not been contacted by the assigned investigator or received any updates about my case. 4. Despite numerous follow-ups via phone and email, my account remains blocked, causing significant inconvenience.

The lack of communication from the bank and the ongoing delay is unacceptable. I am requesting your platform’s assistance to escalate this matter, as it is affecting my access to funds and financial stability.
