Unprofessional business practices by law firms

I had a credit card with standard which was handed over to MBD attorney's. We had arrangements and was paying through debit order and amount of R470.00 per month. I paid it for an about two years and when I asked for a statement from them I couldn't get one. I decided not to continue as I thought I have finished paying . The was the last time I heard from them. Now after almost 4 years someone from the company called Network finance was calling my office by the name of Ayanda to confirm my employment. She was so rude to the staff insisting of confirming irrespective when they wanted to refer her to the HR. I came in and was informed about the matter and as I was talking to her she become rude to me as well when I told her I don't know any company called Network Finance I had no relation with them and scared that they will **** me is when she indicated that Standard Bank handed over the matter to them. My question is what happend to monies I paid to MBD as now I am expected to deal with another company that I don't know and I am not their client . This was so unprofessional and I m not happy with that . Someone from standard bank please help
