Unpaid on account when it was rectified.

I have never had an unpaid on my account and it is the first time overdrawn. I rectified the account immediately and before 11am and to my surprise I have an unpaid on my account. I paid my Woolworths credit card and yet they debited my account. Why was I not contacted as I was never over the limit before.This is an error on Woolworths side however I canot see how my bank can unpay when the account was rectified. Also no one called me as this is my first over the limit and the bank just unpaid. I know my account is well conducted so I would like to know why was I not contacted.
