Standard Bank is the worse bank I have ever dealt with! They are unprofessional and ***********! In June 2020, I was retrenched and I informed Standard Bank that I was retrenched due to COVID19, as I had a personal loan and credit card with them. They asked me to provide the retrenchment letter so that my retrenchment policy can cover the rest of the loan and credit card. I emailed everything to them. Now I am being harassed daily by 3rd party attorneys for the outstanding debt! There was a lady that contacted me a few weeks ago to say that she sees that I policies for my loan and credit card but they do have the emails I sent to them. I explained to the lady that because I was sent in June 2020 I am not able retrieve my emails but I'm sure that they locate it on their end. To date no further feedback has been provided. I have now asked Google to assist me to retrieve those emails and when I find it I am definitely taking further steps against them! Absolutely disgusting that they are not even trying to find a resolve even though they can pick that I had the policies in place.
