Unknown debit order

I have a standard bank cheque account whereby there have been debits that have been trying to take funds on my account I stopped all debit orders on that account and had moved the ones that I know out of the blue there's some w street and glasses Inc trying to debit from that account I have never signed any agreement with these people. I lodged the matter at the branch closest to me I'm always told I must go back to the branch where I opened the account which is not right if Standard bank is standard bank why must I go to the branch where I opened the account its ridiculous..so I've been to the branch but have not had any feedback about these debit orders and now I'm being billed R115 for each one for the past 3 to 4 months now.. My account has been handed to some law firm claiming I must pay R1000 cause now these debits have put me in a negative.. Im not happy at all about this cause my query hasn't been resolved about these debit orders and now this with matter with lawyers... I just want to close my account and go elsewhere but I can't cause of these scrupulous debit orders and the fees!!!!
