Unhappy Client
I regret ever taking a homeloan at standard bank The consultants who are assisting seem to be clueless or should I say *********** I have recently cancelled the homeloan assurance because I had another one elsewhere which had more benefits. The homeloan installment has remained the same (of which I don't have a problem with that) but now there is no reduction to the homeloan remaining years/ months The money that was supposed to go to the assurance is no longer being deducted from the homeloan which means the homeloan is getting an additional payment So according to my understanding when someone pays extra towards their homeloan there should be a difference in the number of year/ months that the homeloan owes. Now standard bank please explain to me, where is the extra R472 which used to the assurance money going into? And secondly I have discovered that standard bank has been overcharging me on interest. Now I was not engaged with and asked if I would like the money to be refunded back into my bank account or homeloan account. The consultant who I have been communicated with, has decided on her own to pay the interest due back to me in my homeloan account Well I need that money back into my bank account because it was taken from my bank account after all. Thirdly I have been owing standard bank arrears of R3501 on my homeloan but even after the interest that I was owed was paid back into the homeloan account, the consultant is still telling me I still owe the arrears of R3501, how? When the homeloan account has received over R12900? Now I want the overcharged interest of R12900 paid back into my bank account so I can be able to pay my arrears of R3501
Thank you N Msomi ***
