Unfairly Repossessed House
My Parents Bought A House From Standard Bank In 2009. My Father Passed Away In 2015 And The House Couldn't Be Paid For Anymore But We Made The Bank Aware Of This By Submitting All The Necessary Documentation And Requirements. On The 16 November 2016 We Were Give A Letter From Grundling Attorneys By Hand, On Behalf Of Their Client Which Had Purchased The Property (Our House) On A Private Auction. The Letter Stated That Their Client Would Like Vacant Occupation Of The Property By The 15th December 2016.
This Letter Was Served As A Letter Of Notice.
Our Grievance Is That Proper Repossession Procedures Weren't Taken. •Lender Didn't Inform Us About Arrears •No Negotiations Were Made To Settle The Outstanding Balance •No Court Order Was Served For Hearing •Only Notice Letter Was Served
So My Question To You Is, What Actions Do I Need To Take Against Standard Bank For Their Misconduct Or How Can You Be Of Help In Solving This Case?
