unfair treatment by standard bank on home loan

<p>my bond was registered today with Standard bank. From the time we were in the process of agreeing to Standard bank's offer they give a high interest rate @ 11.45% which to this day we are not satisfied with reasons given for this rate- they dnt answer emails or anything.. The prestige bank is useless as you are told that they cnt help or intervene with home loan issues. After accepting the bank's offer - the bond has now been registered. I am not happy with the fact that the bank is not open to negotiating when I would want my first bond installement to be. They are able to do so with the car, why are we not afforded the same opportunity when it comes to bond repayments??? This is very unfair to my husband & I are now inconvinienced with the plans we had before we started to pay the home loan. Standard bank is a bully!!! this is not a good way to treat your customer. I will definately be shopping around for another bank to take obver our accounts!!</p>
