Unfair listing of a paid off Personal Revolving Credit Loan by Standard Bank
I lodged a complaint against FNB via Hellopeter. FNB responded swiftly and informed me that it is not their responsibility to remove my Personal Revolving Credit Loan listing from my Unsecured Credit as that is the competence and responsibility of Standard Bank with whom I settled the loan repayment. I don't understand why Standard Bank has abdicated its responsibility on this pertinent matter because it impacts negatively on my credit score or record. To its credit, Standard Bank was swift in closing the account when I paid it off. They also issued a letter which confirmed the settlement and the closure of the Personal RCL. So, I don't understand why they still keep the loan as an active listing under my Unsecured Credit record. It's a false and unfair reflection of my Unsecured Credit listing. The listing should be removed as speedily as possible. The removal is long overdue.
