Unfair dismissal and improper assistance by your legal aid insurer in such instances.

Good morning all affected people by this type of experience. I have had worked for this major long term and short term insurance company in South Africa. Specifically in their Bellville Head Office in Cape Town. This was for a 15years period and had grown through their ranks from being a call centre agent to becoming their training and development facilitator. I had never experienced such an experience which I'm about to share until this recent moment. This occurred just before the Covid-19 epidemic had started in March-April 2020 when I was dismissed. Firstly I was dismissed because of managing my sick leave which was only 30days over a period of 3years, e.g. 10days per year. How this whole event unfolded by firstly being asked by my first line manager if I could work from home without explaining how would this work. As this would have been a first for me as I've never worked from home. Which I feel had I known how this is done I would have made some form of accommodation. But unfortunately this was not explained to me. Unlike I feel my fellow colleagues have done this before because of their response to this request. I informed my first line manager that I'm unable to because my household was very noisy because of the community I came from. Soon after that I was requested to attend a disciplinary hearing for managing my sick leave. Which has never been an issue in the past 15years working for this company. I was finally dismissed due to managing my sick leave even after having to explain to them that I had a chronic condition which I was managing due to my health. Which I believe your health comes first before everything, where ever you work. I am still alive as I'm still managing my health an still capable of helping around the house, as I was an excellent employee in my role at this company. This didn't end there. I took this matter up with my Legal Aid insurance company within my 30days to submit it to the CCMA. This legal aid insurance company which constantly advertise it's legal aid product as if it's the most effective one out there. They didn't submit my complaint to the CCMA and I had to constantly follow up with them and even travel all the way from Cape Town to Johannesburg their officers, because they don't have offices in all other province's. Finally they didn't help me in resolving my case. Which I feel in this whole experience from being dismissed unfairly and unfairly assisted by a Legal Aid insurance company which promises people what it's capable of doing for their employees and clients. I just have the following question to everyone out there: Was this a fair treatment from both parties(employer and legal aid insurance company) or was it just one of those matters which people were being getting rid of and not being assisted by the insurance company which you pay premium for their assistance? ***
