*********, THIEVING STANDARD BANK

Standard Bank, you don't deserve even the one star... I posted some time last year about being double billed on service charges by Standard Bank for several years now with no resolution in sight (in spite of my ever growing frustration at futile attempts for resolution) despite the bank's acknowledgement that I was being double billed .

A representative of Standard Bank responded to my last Hello Peter Post, saying that they will treat the issue as a matter of urgency. Several weeks later, I was refunded three months' service fees.

When I queried why fees for just three months was refunded, I was told that that's how far the records go. LIES!!!! When i go into the bank, I'm told the records go back FIVE years...

I was called relentlessly by Standard Bank to settle the outstanding amount of R 200+ on my credit card. On a matter of principle, I refused to pay the outstanding amount because, in fact, I OWE Standard Bank, NOTHING!!!! THEY OWE ME!!!!!!

I have now been handed over to a debt collection agency that calls very religiously on behalf of Standard Bank.

Standard Bank, I think YOU'RE *********, HAVE NO INTEGRITY OR TRANSPARENCY, DO NOT CARE about your disgruntled clients and think you can get away with insulting the intelligence of your clients.

May your CEO and Board and every inept member of staff grow boils on their butts.
