********* behavior

Standard bank is a bunch of useless idiots. I closed my account about 1 year ago and they chose to leave my account open there was no interaction on the account, this was a dormant account for over 6 month and standard bank failed to close the account I was left with the account going into overdraft. Regardless I paid into this account and made arrangements and I was told no additional fees would accumulate on this account. Today I get a call that the account is double the amount and I need to make payment. This is how standard makes money by *****ing people into paying for an account they are not using. I want this account to be closed with immediate effect I will not be paying for an account that I am not using. This is ********* behavior from a corporate company and still has the audacity to hand over my account after the bank failed to follow their own processes.i will escalate this to the banking ombudsman should this matter not be resolved.
