Unauthorized Debicheck Debit Order
I am Ilona Mokoena a Standard Bank client for a few years now. I am struggling since 26 January 2021 to have an unauthorized Debicheck debit order reversed. I had a debit order mandate with a financial institution. They debit my account as a Naedo debit order. The mandate was no longer in place. on 26 January the company debit my account with R1513.25 and the debit order became a debicheck debit order. I never received an sms to authorize the debicheck debit order. Standard Bank cannot answer my questions or they wont. When did I authorize the debit order? Who authorized it on my behalf? I can speculate a lot, but I wont. To my surprise I had a few authorized debicheck debit orders on my profile that I was unaware of. How did this happen? On the Standard Bank website the process of a debicheck order is: 1. We will send you an sms approve your new Debicheck mandate 2. If correct, you can confirm the debit order details supp**** 3. Only if you accept, will the debit order be processed 4. If you reject the debit order, it wont go through 5. If your details don't match the debit order, we wont process it. None of these steps were met with the said debit order. Was debicheck not introduced for the safety of clients? I received feedback of my complaint *** stating that the agreement was between me and the credit provider. Yes I agree it was, but I never approved a debicheck debit order. Why should I contact them when the secured method introduced by my bank failed me? Why must I suffer because your IT department could not find proof? You can see on my bank statement that this was never the agreement between myself and the company, surely somewhere along the line I had to give permission of which there is no record, so it was obtained **********ly. According to your feedback I gave consent for this debicheck debit order. How did I do this? My money is not safe and then it means that any service provider debit my account as they please and there is nothing I can do about it? You said that the complaint was resolved, for you, but not for me. I want answers please.

You are avoiding my questions on how this happened. Whereas there is a process that wasn't followed. The fact that you gave me feedback doesn't mean that you resolved it. You feel nothing for your customers, especially the low level ones.
