Unauthorised Debit Orders

When I chose to put my money in a bank account, I thought it was going to be safe. I chose a bank with the hopes that they would protect my money from ******* and ********.<br> Instead, anyone that has a company, and my account number can take money out of my account without any authorisation whatsoever.<br> The only debts that I have are my house and my car. Those debit orders have been authorised by me, in writing.<br> Now I find out that some other company has been taking 99 rand out of my account every month. (Just enough to not be too noticeable)<br> And the bank considers themselves to be a 3rd party.<br> No, Standard bank. You are not a 3rd party. You are responsible for the safety of my account. <br> I am very disappointed.
