UNACEPTABLE SERVICE

We are in the procces of building a home. This is the second time we had to resort to putting them on Hellopeter. Fir the third time in a row they have short payd a progress payment! This time the paperwork asked for an R20960.22 payment according to the progress on the house. They only paid R90468.19 for no good reason. The assesor never phoned the builder to arange for an assesment on progress. To my knowledge there was never an assesment done. I can confirm that the amount asked for is in linevwith progress as the house is due for completion at the end of the month, they are ontrack and the house us almost finnished. Standard bank ohoned my husband on Saterday and confirmed that they would pay R20960.22. Bit when the developer recieved the payment it was only R90468.19. I emailed Taryn Morgan, Ola Letsoalo, and the complaint and building department. I got a call hack to say it will be escalated and I would recieve a call back befor end of bussines. I never recieved a call or explenation on why this is done. My builder now wants to stop building, meaning its not going to be finnished on date. The builder emailed the following: More Lize Ek bevestig dat ons betaling ontvang het vir ‘n bedrag van R 90 469.19. Die trekking gevra was R 209 610.22 dus kan julle sien dat daar weereens ‘n groot kortbetaling gemaak is deur die bank. Ons sal ongelukkig die ****ruksie moet stop. Ons kan nie ‘n projek laat vloei sonder ****antvloei nie. Ons het al verskeie kere voorheen versoek dat die waardeerder Arnold ****ak en op site ontmoet aangesien ons met elke trekking kort betaal word. Kan julle asb so gou moontlik reel dat die waardeerder ons ****ak vir ‘n ontmoeting. Kan julle ook asb vir ons bewys stuur van julle verband bedrag beskikbaar vir Konstruksie. Konstruksie sal more middag gestaak word tot die finansies vanaf die bank uitgeklaar is. Baie dankie --------------------------- I need Standard Bank to sort this out ASAP.
