Unacceptable service fee deducted!!

On Saturday I have noticed a unknown amount going through my account, instantly thinking it`s a ********** transaction.

I phone Standard bank and they informed me that it`s not ********** and actually Standard Bank who debited the amount for my loan. And explained that it`s the interest fees, for the amount that was deducted from my student loan.

I have informed the consultant that I have had the loan for years and in all that time never used it. The consultant check this fact and confirmed it.

The consultant advised me to call on Monday and asked them to debited the amount of R905 back into my account, which I did today. Only finding out that this is now apparently fees for the loan- that I have never used.

I have asked the consultant why is this fees been deducted now for the first time, even though I have had it for years, no answers was provided. Furthermore how can they charge you fees on a loan that was given to you. I have never asked for the loan nor used it.
