Unable to contact Standard Banks branch directly by phone.

Standard Bank have made it impossible to speak to their individual branches. I wanted a simple answer to my query regarding a foreign exchange query I had and the call centre (The only number that one is given on their website) was unable to help or direct me. My only alternative is to travel 20 klms to the nearest branch that deals in Foreign Exchange or use another bank.

Thank you for your standard response however it is now nearly 24 hours and I have heard nothing from you. I guess our understand of your "will be addressed as a matter of urgency." has a different timescale to Standard Banks.

..... and of course it is now over 48 hours and no response from Standard Bank. If as per their previous reply "we are committed to providing the best possible service'' this is THEIR best, then I no longer want to bank with them anymore.

..... 11 days on and I am still waiting for Standard Bank to address this issue on their "and assure you that this will be addressed as a matter of urgency." policy.
