*****ulent credit inquiries

I went to standard bank's Rosebank mall branch on the 20th of June 2024 , to open a bank account only, informing the consultant that I shop at Makro a lot and would like to accumulate Ucount rewards, account was opened, the next day i got a notification that a credit query had been made on my name by standard bank. went back to the branch, the consultant and team leader looked at my stuff, and said they did nothing wrong, i sent a complaint to their complaints department, and with over a week's communication, they say, they cant do anything about it, they cant fix the wrong they did, i must contact the credit bureaus myself. the experience was honestly horrible!
