UCounts Food *****s Market Dummy Promo

<p>I received an SMS from Standard Bank, stating that “UCount Rewards: Spend at Food *****s Market until 15 August 2016 & stand a chance to win grocery vouchers valued at R24000. T&Cs apply.”</p> <p>So, I asked my husband, - we are pensioners, to please take me to the Glen Marais Food *****s Market. We did some shopping, the teller rang the goods up and I presented my UCounts card to pay.</p> <p>The teller told me, “Sorry madam, but we do not take UCount cards for payment”. I asked to speak to the manager. She also stated that “Sorry, but we are not registered with UCounts, and do not take UCount cards for payment”.</p> <p>Time and petrol wasted on a dummy promo, husband not a happy chappie, that makes 2 of us!</p> <p>Why Standard Bank do you send out SMS’s for supplier promo’s that are not valid?</p> <p>I do not have a large amount on my card, but what is my UCounts card worth? Not a lot apparently.</p> <p> </p>
