Transfer monies out of my acc without my knowledge

Standard Bank transferred R12 048.89 from my cheque acc into closed off home loan acc without notifying me. On calling and asking for a Senior Manager, I was transferred from pillar to post. I visited the N1 City branch and they contacted the Home Loans division who confirmed this transfer had taken place.<br> <br> They claim they tried to contact me on my old number. Yet Standard Bank have insisted that I do regular FICA updates with them and they have all my latest details on their system (new details were confirmed with me on the phone by the Home Loans Dept) so why then call me on my old number and if you don't get hold of me how do you just take the money???<br> <br> Standard Bank had no right to just transfer this money out of my account without any notification to me in 4 years.
