Transfer and debit order fees being charged - never had this before

Last week I went through my bank statements as I was preparing my tax return for SARS. Prior to the end of August 2017 I have never had to pay inter-account transfer fees, electronic account payment fees, debit order fees in my savings account since opening my account several decades ago. Now, since end of August I note that I am being charged these fees even though my credit balance has been above the minimum threshold of R10,000. I am a pensioner and I think that this is a pathetic way to treat very long standing loyal clients. The amount of interest that Standard Bank accumulate on the minimum credit balance is substantial so why penalise a client, especially a pensioner. I get a measly less than R1-00 interest on my credit balance, which one would assume compensates for any activity in the account. I was a computer specialist in my corporate days and doing electronic transfers is dead simple - the amount of the fees charged is ridiculous (the minimum fee charged is R5 per transaction).
