TOPIC: Standard Bank seemingly a good platform for *****sters to ***** money from their clients accounts
If it was possible I would have given a zero score to Standard Bank on this, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the way Standard Bank mishandled my ***** case 64881. I am not happy that the bank is unwilling to help me get back the funds paid from my account through *****ulent means; the bank is clearly being irresponsible and lacks accountability in ensuring that I get the money back. I have to resort to this platform as an appeal and hope that the bank will review my ***** case and help me get back the funds rather than telling me that the bank attended to the matter in accordance with the prescribed policies and processes. I was ******* and ****med by *****sters and Standard Bank should have been my line of defense and prevented the ***** by ensuring that as soon as I notified them, they stopped the payment from going through. Even though the bank says that they attended to the matter in accordance with the prescribed policies and processes; nothing stops the bank from checking, tracing / tracking the money and getting it back to my account. In this instance, i was hoping that the bank would act in my best interest and speedily help me get back the money, but it seems Standard Bank is consumed with how right they are, whereas my plea was that ***** happened as i was ****med and as my Bank, assist me in getting back the money, but that did not happen. Given that I am a medical professional and not a Chartered banker or an AI Guru, and the fact that the ****mer purported and identified herself to be Natasha Morgan from Standard Bank ***** Department, used my previous banker's email address to log in my account and this was not out of the ordinary to me because the bankers told me long ago that i could trust them, i called the bank in less than 5 minutes and the person i spoke to said they will immediately speak to the banks where the money went to in an effort to recover the money. Did this happen immediately or at a tortoise pace such that by the time this happened money had already been withdrawn. Who dropped the ball, it cannot be me as a client. The bank could have acted swiftly, the bank can still thoroughly investigate this matter, trace and recover the money back into my account. In terms of the FAIS act, FICA act and in consideration of the Consumer Protection Act, the bank has a duty of care and diligence to prevent *****, money laundering, the prevention of financial crimes and to ensure that clients are protected from these. The Banking Code of practice also stresses that banks assists clients right the first time. Who delayed acting quickly to ensure that the funds are immediately traced and recovered into my account. Who divulged information they shouldn't have, does it not seem like present and former bankers of the bank might be involved. Could *****sters/****mers pull this up without the assistance of someone privvy of my banking information in the employ/was in the employ of the bank. I could not have ordinarily had the expertise to suspect *****. I don't have that banking or AI expertise or cybersecurity expertise, I have medical expertise, the bank could have been my defence and I still need the bank to assist in ensuring that the funds are recovered back into my bank account. The fact that the bank did not let me know that the Banker I was using left the bank's employ exposed me to ****mers and aggravated the *****. Please Standard bank assist in ensuring that the money is recovered back into my bank account, ethical and responsible banking considerations should require the bank to do that rather than washing your hands and claim to be right, i hope the bank will find it appropriate to take this matter seriously and assist to ensure that money is recovered back into my account external remedies might not yield a win-win situation but thorough due diligence in recovering the funds will.

Curtis Arthus Abrahams, who sold MyMo accounts as part of his job, was found to have breached strict banking rules by depositing funds from his personal account into new client accounts to meet activation requirements.
The MyMo account system requires customers to activate their accounts with a mandatory deposit. However, internal emails sent in September 2020 explicitly stated that bank representatives were prohibited from using their own funds for this purpose. Despite being aware of this rule, Abrahams ignored the policy in an attempt to hit his targets, as reported
