*******

Standard bank has absolutely no compassion nor regard for customers rights. In Feb 2020 I was given options to assist with the arrears on my home loan since I have been keeping up with my monthly installments. I informed the bank regarding the option I am able to go with and asked that they apply this as soon as possible so that its no longer with the Attorneys and this saving on legal fees being added to the amount. Three months later and still nothing, when in call the Attorneys they advised that their account is back at STD bank, I contacted the bank they referred me back to the Attorneys. In February the arrears amounted to approximately R17k, Payments made since amounted to approximately R11k, but because of the option i advised they apply for was not actioned by them. My arrears amounts to R24k, HOW IS THIS FAIR!!!!!WHY MUST I BE LIABLE FOR LEGAL FEES????(THAT COULD HAVE GONE TOWARDS ARREARS) That could have been avoided if STD bank had done their jobs properly and not be so *********** and take from people that they can see is not as fortunate to just cough up money like some people can!!!

The communication on their side is pathetic and when I called them, they advised that their is s judgement against the property not even this fact was communicated with me, but yet I have been paying more than the installment amount every month. Their excuse for this is a very poor and perthetic, blaming it on COVID-19 when this started in February already. If they not going to right off the legal fees from February I will take this matter further.

I am not leaving it like this, if they *****ing from me who else are they *****ing from???? If I take this to social media I will definitely get people dealing with the same thing I am.
