They just don't care

I had a RCP loan with Std bank.I lost my job about 1 and a half years ago.I was paying this loan off every month while I was working.I when I lost my job I called standard bank to tell them that I will try by all means to pay the money back and that I was not running away.My wife also losted her job last year.I then signed a contract in March this year and advised std bank I will pay the money back as soon as I am back on my feet.I am starting to get onto my feet now.I showed the bank that I am loyalty and opened a savings acc for my salary to be paid in.Std the goes and takes 16000 from my salary to offset the loan.How do I pay my rent my medical aid and see to my 5 month old baby.I called debit settlements and the attitude was they don't care how I pay my stuff they will not refund any of the money.So much for banks trying to understand what us ordinary people goes through.Std bank needs to change there motto \We don't give a damn about People all we care about is our money """"
