I took a RCP(Revolving credit plan)loan from standard bank in 2010, then i went back and took another loan, by the time i took the second loan my installment was supposed to change to the higher installment because i increased the loan but it never did, i was paying R487 per month, when my term was about to end, i went to van der walt branch to check my outstanding balance, when i got there, i was owing them R2700! the same amount of money that i loaned four years back, when i asked the consultant she said i was only paying interest on my loan i have not even started paying my loan, i wrote to hello peter, they contacted me for a meeting, then the service manager said to me it was also my responsibility to make sure i pay the right installment, she then promised me to pay R884 per month and i wont pay interest untill i finish my loan because i already paid and my balance never decreased, yesterday 25/05/2016, i contacted the call centre because i already paid more than a year and wanted to know the balance, the consultant told me that i owe R23000 and they are still charging me interest and whatever the Service manager told me is not true.

Standard Bank contacted me, i spoke to Nkululeko who promised to help me but he was also unable to help me, since May 2016. Instead of helping me he promised to cut-off the life insurance i paid and it was amounting to +- R5000, but still that was still not fair to me,he then said maybe i must do my own calculations so that i can see how much i paid and how much i owe, he sent me statements all i see is that i paid a lot of money for a very long time and my debt is still high, i dont want calculations i want help, it was their fault they never changed the installments not mine so they must take responsibility not taking advantage of me.

Good day,

After many tries with Standard Bank i am still crying and not satisfied, i spoke to Nkululeko of Satndard Bank van derwalt street two years ago about my problem and he promised to help me, he told me that they will cut off the life insurance that i paid amounting to +- R5000, since 25 June 2015, i paid R884 per month and now amounts to -+R 21260 that i paid, by the said date my total debt was R27378.38 . This is really unfair because i was once promised that i will no longer pay interest on my loan but only my Debt but that never happened.
