Standard Bank homeowners should be aware that your debit order from your Standard Bank cheque account will take 10 DAYS to clear, despite the fact that a normal debit order from any other bank only takes 2 DAYS. This means that any funds you put unto your homeloan account less than the debit order amount will not be available on your access facility.
