The MyBills feature is pathetic and staff even more unhelpful

When I heard that I could apply for a passport renewal online I was absolutely ecstatic as I need it ASAP and I get to skip the awful queues at Home Affairs. But with Standard Bank, it has turned into an absolute nightmare (I would like to point out the fact that my friend needed a passport renewal too as we're going to Thailand together and with ABSA she had no problems and within a day had her fingerprints and photo all taken care of). I followed the guide perfectly, I added my student achiever's account with all the same details into the home affairs website for payment, next I had to authorise it with the internet banking, simple right? WRONG? The bill would not show up under MyBills, I called Standard Bank's call centre 4 times, helped by 4 different people to follow the same mind numbing process of checking my details matched, that I had one account in my name, unsubscribing and resubscribing to the Department, only to be escalated to the IT department who sent me an email the next day saying they had fixed my problem, spoiler alert, my problem wasn't fixed. I drove 40 minutes to the ****arney branch to see if they'd be more helpful in person, they're closed for renovations and the only other branch that does passports is Centurion! So I went to my Nearest branch at Mall of the South, and no one can help me!!!!!! They can't even tell me what I should try or where to go next. So tomorrow I'm closing my account with Standard Bank and opening one with ABSA. Standard Bank is absolutely pathetic!
